  Reached career best world ranking of No.66 in the month of August 09.

  Captained the Indian Team to finish 7th position in the team   Championships of the Asian Championships held Lucknow, India in   Nov 09 and was Awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

  Lost in the Round of 64 in the Pro Tour Poland Open in Nov 09.

  Defeated Warner Schlager, former World Champion in the Spinvitational   tournament held in Chicago in Dec 09.

  National Champion in all the events namely singles, teams,men   doubles (partnering subhajit saha) and mixed doubles (partnering   poulami ghatak).

  Beat World No.19 from south korea in the japan pro tour held in june.  (which is the highest rank victory).

  First Indian to win the Pyongyong invitational Championships held in   north korea in august.

  Runner up in the teams championships and semifinalist in the singles   of the commonwealth championships held in Jaipur .

  Represented India in the World Championships held in china.
