HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2009 - 2010

Reached career best world ranking of No.66 in the month of August 09.
   
Trained for 2 months in the Second best Table Tennis club in Europe, Ochsenhausen, Germany
.

Captained the Indian Team to finish 7th position in the team championships of the Asian Championships held Lucknow, India in Nov 09 and was Awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

Lost in the Round of 64 in the Pro Tour Poland Open in Nov 09.

Defeated Warner Schlager, former World Champion in the Spinvitational tournament held in Chicago in Dec 09.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2008 - 2009

Represented the country for the second time in the Olympic Games held at Beijing after Athens in 04.
   
Lost in the round of 32 In the World Championships held at Japan in April after winning 2 rounds against World No. 95 and 36 respectively.

Won 1 Gold medal in the Men’s Doubles and 2 Silver medals in the Singles and in the Team Championships in the Commonwealth Championships held at Glasgow, Scotland in the month of May 09.

Current National Champion for the year 2008 making it 4 times National Champion.

Currently playing for the Spanish Club San Sebastian De los Reyes.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2007 - 2008

Played for Swedish League in the season 2004-05 for a club called ENIG BTK in the second division and currently playing for a Spanish club called San Sebastian De Los Reyes in the first division for 2 seasons 2006-07, 2007-08.

 National Champion in all 4 event singles, team, men doubles (partnering Subhajit saha) and mixed doubles (partnering Poulami Ghatak).

 Beat World No.19 from South Korea in the Japan Pro tour held in June. (which is the highest rank victory).

First Indian to win the Pyongyong invitational Championships held in North Korea in August.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2006 - 2007

Gold Medalist in the Singles and the Team championships  in the Commonwealth games held at Melbourne, Australia.

 National champion in singles and in team championships.

 In the South Asian games held at Colombo, won all the four gold medals singles, team, men doubles and mixed doubles.

 Semifinalist in the Brazilian Pro Tour held in june.

 Runner up in the Indian Pro Tour  held in Delhi in Feberuary 07.

 Repharse into the top 100 ranking in the world.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2005 - 2006

 Recipient of the Prestigious Arjuna award for outstanding performance in the field of table tennis

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2004 - 2005

 Represented the country in the Athens 2004 Olympics and repharse in the second round in the singles.

Gold medalist in both singles and team championships in the Commonwealth Championships held at Malaysia (first Indian to win a gold medal in the Commonwealth Championships)

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR 2003 - 2004

National Champion in both singles and in the team championships held at Gurgoan.

Awarded with “Most Valuable player” of the Asian Championship held at lucknow, India.

In the team quarter final event, he fully extended and stretched to five games with Wang Liqin – former world Champion and current world number six.

In the singles event KILLER SPIN EXHIBITION MATCH held at US, he defeated Slager – former world champion.

UNDERWENT TRAINING IN GERMANY

Current National Champion for the year 2008 making it 4 times National Champion.
